This piece was completed during the 2026 William T. Turman Plein Air Exhibition in Terre Haute, IN, at Prairie Creek Park. The artist vividly recalls dropping her earbuds into the pond during her painting session, after being spooked by a snake at her feet. Nonetheless, the artist channeled her inner "Monet" and had a splendid time painting the water lillies.
